Look Book

Since all of our family lives so far away, I made a "Look Book" for Addison with pictures of her grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, and cousins so she could grow familiar with their faces even though she doesn't see them very often. Here's a video of her exploring that book this evening and I found it kind of cute about half way through the video, she discovered a picture of her family (Mommy, Daddy, and Addison). She clearly recognized the group on that page! I'm hoping with time, she'll recognize all those other faces in that book as well!

Fun with Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa Gafford came up from Indiana to visit Addison (and Mommy and Daddy) this week. It's been a fun week for them to be here because sitting up opens up a whole new world of play. Here are a few snapshot of our week so far.

Look what I can do!

Someone decided to start sitting up today! Of course that would happen the day AFTER her 6 month pictures.... but oh well. Addison's discovered a whole new way to play sitting up and loves it.

At the Drive In

Today we celebrate the 4th of July with a trip to the Drive In. It's Toy Story and Karate Kid, and Addison is awake and entertaining us while the sun sets.


Dan and Angie Leverance drove down to join us, and we reunited high school buddies Melissa and Angie for the night.



Our new worship leader Justin graced us with his presence tonight also, so it's quite the raukus crowd!



Addison's first drive in experience should be a blast!
